Gauru is story of hope how a shepherd grandson fulfills his grandmother’s last wish.
13-year-old Gauru’s grandmother who is on deathbed has never been to her native place after marriage. It’s her last wish to go her native place. Grandmother’s village is a difficult and distant place to reach. It is million miles away.
It’s time of draught and Gauru’s father can’t fulfill his mother’s last wish.
The story is how Gauru fulfills her grandmother’s last wish by taking the journey against all odds and still surviving

‘গৌর’ হলো একটি আশার গল্প, যেখানে দেখনো হয় কীভাবে একজন মেষপালক এর পুত্র তার দাদীর শেষ ইচ্ছা পূরণ করে। ১৩ বছর বয়স্ক গৌরের দাদী যিনি তার মৃত্যুশয্যায় আছেন, বিয়ের পর কখনই তার নিজের গ্রামের বাড়ি যাননি। এটি তার শেষ ইচ্ছা, একবার নিজের গ্রামটায় যাওয়া। দাদীর গ্রামটি সহস্র মাইল দূরে এবং গৌরের বাবার পক্ষে সম্ভব না তার মায়ের এই ইচ্ছা পূরন করা। গল্পটি হলো কীভাবে গৌর অনেক বাধা বিপত্তি পার হয়ে তার দাদীর ইচ্ছা পূরন করে। এই নিয়েই চলচ্চিত্র।

Mr. Ramakishan Choyal
Ramakishan Choyal was born in a village of Rajasthan. He is a B.Sc Chemistry graduate from Gujarat state in Mass Communication Course. “Gauru” is his debut film as a director. Film Kaphal ( Feb 2012 to April 2012) is a children's film funded by CFSI and Directed by Batul Mukhtiyar. The film was shot in Uttarakhand, Rudraprayag.
