Benni has Down Syndrome; Ole (11) has never been disturbed so far. But now – on the threshold of childhood – their friendship is changing, Ole is in love for the first time, and suddenly it’s no longer easy to stand by his friend.

ওলের (১১) বন্ধু বেনির ডাউন সিনড্রোম আছে। তা নিয়ে ওলে কখনো বিরক্তবোধ করেনি। কিন্তু এখন তারা শৈশবের দ্বারপ্রান্তে। ওলে প্রথমবারের মতো প্রেমে পড়েছে। হঠাৎ করেই সে আর আগের মতো বন্ধুর পাশে থাকতে পারছে না।

Benni hat das Down-Syndrom; Ole (11) wurde bisher noch nie gestört. Doch jetzt – an der Schwelle zur Kindheit – ändert sich ihre Freundschaft, Ole ist zum ersten Mal verliebt, und plötzlich ist es nicht mehr einfach, seinem Freund beizustehen.

Ms. Anna Ludwig

Anna Ludwig wrote several books for Children (published by DTV junior), worked as a teacher at High School, and as a copywriter in several advertising agencies before studying film and television in Munich. “Ole, Benni and the Rest of the Universe” is her graduation film.
