নিজের ভেড়ার থেকে বাড়ি পৌছনোর পর মেষপালকের ছেলেটি ঘুমিয়ে যাওয়া পর্যন্ত তাদের গোনে। স্বপ্নের ভেড়াটি হঠাৎ থেমে যায়, সারাদিন কাজ করতে অনীহা প্রদর্শন করে ও নিজেদের মত নিয়ে কথা বলতে শুরু করে। অবশেষে ছেলেটি তার স্বপ্নটি নিজের আয়ত্বে আনে, ভেড়াদেরকে তাদের স্বপ্ন অনুধাবন করতে দেয় ও নিরাপদে ঘুমায়।
