’Refined in the Fire’ follows the story of a 95-year-old Holocaust survivor and widow, Olga Wachtel, as she shares some of the experiences that have shaped her life. Olga shows us that adversity can refine our character like gold, which is purified in fire.

ওলগা ওয়াচেল, হলকাস্টের নির্মম মুহূর্ত থেকে ফিরে আসা ৯৫ বছর বয়সী বিধবা এক নারী। তিনি তার জীবনের কিছু অভিজ্ঞতার কথা বলেন যা তাকে তার বর্তমান জীবন দিয়েছে। ওলগা আমাদের দেখান যে কিভাবে সোনা আগুনে পুড়ে যেভাবে বিশুদ্ধ হয়, ঠিক সেভাবেই জীবনের দুঃখ-দুর্দশা গুলো কিভাবে আমাদের ব্যক্তিত্বকে পরিশোধন করে।

She is currently entering her final year of university as she is studying Bachelor of Communications, majoring in Media, Arts & Production and Journalism. Anna appreciates art in all its diverse forms and enjoys being able to document the lived experiences of others, especially through the medium of film
