Whole family adventure film Phantom Owl Forest follows a 10-year-old Eia, whose Christmas holiday has taken an unexpected turn, after being brought to a mysterious farm in rural South Estonia. She follows her heart to rescue an old primeval forest, helps two lovers to find each other, and is destined to unwrap her family’s well-kept secret.

পুরো ফ্যামিলি অ্যাডভেঞ্চার ফিল্ম 'ফ্যান্টম আউল ফরেস্ট' একটি ১০ বছর বয়সী ইয়াকে নিয়ে নির্মিত, যার ক্রিসমাসের ছুটি একটি অপ্রত্যাশিত মোড় নিয়েছে, এস্তোনিয়ার গ্রামীণ এক রহস্যময় খামারে যাওয়ার পরে। সে তার মনের কথা শুনেছে একটি পুরোনো আদ্য বনকে বাঁচানোর জন্য, দুটি প্রেমিককে একে অপরকে খুঁজে পেতে সহায়তা করে। তাছাড়াও তার অদৃষ্টে ছিল তার পরিবারের না জানা গোপনীয়তা প্রকাশ করা।

Seiklusrikas laste jõulufilm kümneaastasest Eiast, kelle plaanid võtavad ootamatu pöörde, kui linnatüdruk viiakse talvevaheajaks ürgse loodusega salapärasesse Lõuna-Eesti tallu. Eia ei oska esialgu aimatagi, et õige pea asub ta päästma hukule määratud põlismetsa, kokku viima kaht armastavat inimest ning lahti harutama oma pere kiivalt hoitud saladust. ilmi autor Anu Aun on varasemalt silma paistnud kodumaise kinopubliku südameid võitnud mängufilmiga “Polaarpoiss” ning rahvusvahelisel areenil rohkete auhindadega pärjatud lühimängufilmiga “Vahetus”. “Eia jõulud Tondikakul” on Auna teine täispikk mängufilm.

Ms. Anu Aun

Anu Aun has graduated with BA from TV Directing and completed postgraduate studies in Film Direct-ing in Baltic Film and Media School. She has produced and directed two feature films, several short films, and documentaries. Her latest feature Phantom Owl Forest reached over 147000 viewers in domestic cinemas which made it the most viewed Estonian film of 2018.

Filmography: Her short film Shift (2010) was selected to more than 70 international film festivals and won 17 prizes from all over the world. Anu’s debut feature The Polar Boy (2016) was developed in Tori-no Film Lab and Nipkow Program. The film screened in Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival official competition, Cairo International Film Festival, Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and many others. Anu is currently in production with creative documentary Walker on Water.
