Phantom Owl Forest

Eia Jõulud Tondikakul (Estonian)

Estonia | 90 min min | Action | 2019 | Feature Film (Live Action)

Whole family adventure film Phantom Owl Forest follows a 10-year-old Eia, whose Christmas holiday has taken an unexpected turn, after being brought to a mysterious farm in rural South Estonia. She follows her heart to rescue an old primeval forest, helps two lovers to find each other, and is destined to unwrap her family’s well-kept secret.

Seiklusrikas laste jõulufilm kümneaastasest Eiast, kelle plaanid võtavad ootamatu pöörde, kui linnatüdruk viiakse talvevaheajaks ürgse loodusega salapärasesse Lõuna-Eesti tallu. Eia ei oska esialgu aimatagi, et õige pea asub ta päästma hukule määratud põlismetsa, kokku viima kaht armastavat inimest ning lahti harutama oma pere kiivalt hoitud saladust. ilmi autor Anu Aun on varasemalt silma paistnud kodumaise kinopubliku südameid võitnud mängufilmiga “Polaarpoiss” ning rahvusvahelisel areenil rohkete auhindadega pärjatud lühimängufilmiga “Vahetus”. “Eia jõulud Tondikakul” on Auna teine täispikk mängufilm.
