Two twins discuss while still being inside their mother's womb about what they might find once they are born. One of them believes that there is nothing out there, but the other is hopeful that their mother will be there to meet them. "The Afterbirth" is a metaphor of life. It is an illustration about what happens before we die.

দুই জন যমজ শিশু তাদের মায়ের পেটে থাকতেই আলোচনা করছে,তারা জন্মগ্রহণের পর কি দেখতে পাবে তা সম্পর্কে। তাদের মধ্যে একজন বিশ্বাসই করে না যে সেখানে কিছু থাকবে, কিন্তু অন্যজন আশাবাদী যে মা নিশ্চয়ই তাদের সাথে দেখা করতে সেখানে থাকবে। ‘দ্য আফটারবার্থ’ জীবনের রূপক গল্পের ছবি, যার মধ্য দিয়ে আমরা মৃত্যুর আগে কী ঘটবে তা দেখতে পাই।
Mr. Ignacio Rodó
Ignacio Rodó was born on 1986 in Terrassa, Spain. He is a filmmaker and he directed more than 25 short films, which have won more than 100 awards and have been selected in more than 600 film festivals around the world. 'The Afterbirth' is the first collaboration between Ignacio Rodó and Blanca Bonet.

She now combines her work as a designer and animator with her personal projects, films that have had a long run in film festivals.
