Ameena is a poor old lady who lives in a tiny village in the foothills of the Himalayas, with her 7-year-old grandson Hamid. It’s the last day of Ramadan and Hamid is excited by the prospect of breaking his final fasting and celebrating Eid and going to the fair with his friends. But when the five-rupee coin his grandmother has been saving for his Eid gift goes missing, a chain of events start that end up with grandmother and grandson discovering hidden sides of each other.

আমেনা একজন বৃদ্ধ গরিব মহিলা যে তার সাত বছর বয়সী নাতি হামিদের সাথে হিমালয়ের পাদদেশের এক ছোট গ্রামে বাস করে। রমযানের শেষ দিনে, হামিদ পরদিন ঈদ উদযাপন করতে এবং বন্ধুদের সাথে মেলাতে যাওয়ার প্রত্যাশায় অধীর হয়ে আছে। কিন্তু যখন পাঁচ রুপির মুদ্রা, যা তার দাদী তার ঈদ উপহারের জন্য সঞ্চয় করেছেন তা পাওয়া গেল না তখন একের পর এক ঘটনা শুরু হয় যা শেষ হয় দাদী ও নাতির একে অন্যের অপ্রকাশিত দিক প্রকাশিত হওয়ার মধ্য দিয়ে।

Mr. Piyush Panjuani
Piyush has produced and directed almost 250 advertising films. The creative genesis began with a passionate experience as a theatre actor. He worked his way from an assistant director to building his own production company, EQUUS. He has shot/post-produced commercials across continents. The global experience has allowed him to successfully communicate a cinematic language of storytelling with a universal appeal. He has been on the panel of Jury as a chairperson for prestigious awards of the country.
