This tale is about a rickshaw puller who aspires to be a teacher. Although his dreams are big, he is struggling to earn his bread. Poverty took away his opportunity to get a good education at an early age. Through hard work, he now wishes to become a well off person, so well off that he would manage to get the education he was deprived of.

গল্পটি একজন রিক্সাচালকের যিনি কিনা ছোটবেলা থেকেই একজন শিক্ষক হতে চাইতেন। যদিও তার স্বপ্ন অনেক বড় ছিলো, তবুও তাকে প্রতিনিয়তই তার প্রতিদিনের খাদ্যের জন্য সংগ্রাম করতে হতো। খুব ছোটবেলায় দরিদ্রতা তাকে শিক্ষা থেকে বঞ্চিত করে। তাই এই দরিদ্রতার সাথে মোকাবিলা করতে এবং নিজের পায়ে দাঁড়াতে তাকে কঠোর পরিশ্রম করতে হয়। তার এই পরিশ্রম দ্বারা সে স্বচ্ছল হতে চায়, এতটাই স্বচ্ছল যাতে করে সে আবার শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করতে পারে যা থেকে সে বঞ্চিত হয়েছিল।

Mr. Monirul Islam

Monirul Islam is a Bangladeshi filmmaker who grew up in Khulna. After completing Secondary School Certificate he couldn’t continue his study because of family needs. At the age of 18, he grew his interest in making films. Besides, he is a professional photographer (Wedding) & Video Editor. Already he made two documentaries and two short films. In the future, he wishes to make some soul-touching films.

On the Victory Day of Bangladesh the film had shown up at the premises of SHADHIN BANGLA SOMAJ UNNOYN PARISHAD, they awarded one-year study cost for the Rickshaws puller.
