Rammat Gammat is a moving tale of two young boys from different backgrounds who bond over soccer until a new pair of shoes strains their friendship.
It’s a simple story of complex characters, which will spark a discussion about merit vs money, poor vs privileged, class and caste, racial divisions and the role of friendship in it.

চলচ্চিত্রটির মূলত দুইজন বালককে নিয়ে যারা সমাজের ভিন্ন অংশের অন্তর্গত হলেও ফুটবল খেলার মাধ্যমে তাদের বন্ধুত্বের সূচনা হয়। কিন্তু একপর্যায়ে তাদের বন্ধুত্বে ফাটল ধরে একজোড়া জুতো নিয়ে।
এই চলচ্চিত্রে খুবই সহজ ভাষায় সমাজের অসামঞ্জস্যতা তুলে ধরে হয়। জাত, ধর্ম, বর্ণ, ধনী-গরিবের মাঝে যেসব ব্যবধান আছে তা সেগুলো নিয়ে দর্শককে ভাবতে বাধ্য করবে।
Mr. Ajitpal Singh
Ajitpal Singh is an aspiring filmmaker. He was an 8 years old boy when his father ran a cinema hall. After studying Chemistry and learning theatre and photography, he chose filmmaking as his calling. He was selected for Sundance India Screenwriters Lab in 2012. He was the youngest member of Indian delegation at Munich Film Festival 2009, selected by Goethe Institute. He was also selected for 2007 Berlinale Talent Campus New Delhi edition.
Filmography: Ajitpal Singh has worked as an
Associate Director For Gurgaon (2016) and dialogue writer for Once Again (2017). He has also worked as a researcher for 16 German documentary films in India. Currently, he is writing two international co-production projects and working on his directorial debut feature. His feature script is selected among 6 scripts from all over India in 2018 NFDC Screenwriters’ Lab

We are happy to update that our short film had its World Premiere in the prestigious and world's oldest short film festival, 64th Oberhausen International Short Film Festival where it won 'Special Mention' in the Children’s and Youth Competition in May 2018.
North American Premiere was at 24th Palm Springs Short Fest in International Competition and Rammat-Gammat is also selected among the 10 short films for "Bridging the Borders Award"
India Premiere at MAMI 2018 in children's section, Half Ticket where it was the only Indian short in international competition
It is the only Indian film selected in the world's largest and most important children's film festival, CINEKID Amsterdam, this year.
Our short is selected in nearly 30 international and Indian film festivals in the last 8 months.
