Ao, a 12-year-old boy lives with his mother Midori and little sister Kii on Sado island of Japan. He misses his father who has disappeared without a trace. While Midori tries to deal with the loss in her own way, Ao and Kii run across the island and scream at the ocean. In the mysterious transfer student Sayoko, who inconspicuously swipes books from a school library, Ao finds a confidant. Few words are needed between two, dreamy children. Together, they feel less alone. The film tells of a tale of dreams, losses and monsters.

আঁও নামের বারো বছর বয়সের একটি ছেলে তার মা মিডোরি এবং ছোট্ট বোন কিঁই কে নিয়ে জাপানের সাডো দ্বীপে বাস করে। তার বাবা হঠাৎই কোন খোঁজখবর ছাড়াই লাপাত্তা হয়ে যায়। বাবার জন্য আঁওয়ের অনেক মন খারাপ হতো। যখনই মিডোরি নিজের মতো করে তার এই ক্ষতির মোকাবেলা করার চেষ্টা করে, তখন আঁও এবং কিঁই দ্বীপের উপকূলে দৌড়ে গিয়ে সমুদ্রের দিকে তাকিয়ে জোরে চিৎকার করতে থাকে। এদিকে আঁওয়ের বিদ্যালয়ে সায়্যোকো নামের এক রহস্যময়ী ছাত্রের আগমন ঘটে, যে কিনা বিদ্যালয়ের গ্রন্থাগার থেকে বই চুরি করে বেড়াতো। আঁও, সায়্যোকোর মাঝে একটি বিশ্বস্ত বন্ধু পেল। দুজন স্বপ্নচারী কিশোরের মধ্যে ভাব আদান-প্রদানের জন্য খুব কম শব্দই লাগতো। একসাথে তারা কম একাকীত্ব বোধ করতো। এই চলচ্চিত্রটি স্বপ্ন, কিছু অপ্রাপ্তি এবং দৈত্য-দানবের গল্প বলে।

Mr. Tetsuya Tomina

Tetsuya Tomina was born in Kushiro of Hokkaido, Japan and went to the UK to study filmmaking at London Film School. After coming back to Japan, his short film, “At the Last Stop Called Ghost Chimney” was selected at 18th BUSAN IFF’s Wide Angle Competition and was screened in many film festivals across the world. “Blue Wind Blows” (‘18) is his debut feature film. His upcoming project "Where Were We?" was selected in Biennale College Cinema 2018.
