Serenity of Cox’s Bazar greets tourist with its waves from the Bay of Bengal. Just like the waves, the south-eastern tourist hotspot has witnessed waves of human beings. Influx of men, women with their children and the elderly fleeing violence in Myanmar took a refuge in their hundreds and thousands. They are known as Rohingya – most persecuted and much-talked-about group dubbed once as - probably the most friendless people in the world.

Mr. Josim Ahmed

Josim Ahmed was born in 1972, in Sunamgonj, Bangladesh. In 1992 he Started his work life as a staff correspondent in a Daily newspaper here in Bangladesh. In 1996 he begins to work in Bangladesh Television as freelance reporter and documentary maker. Currently, he owns a production house which produces drama-series for various TV channels in Bangladesh. He also writes political analysis and article for various news portal regularly.

Filmography: DAAG, a crime thriller based on Bangladesh liberation war of 1971 is first film from Josim Ahmed. DAAG was selected to 70th Cannes film festival short film corner. UK based Shorts International LTD (SHORTSTV) got a non- exclusive television licensing agreement for its USA, EMEA and South Asian audience. Josim Ahmed also directed many dramas and documentaries for the small screen. He mostly featured the Liberation War of Bangladesh in his TV plays.
