A little girl named Kajol worked as a helping hand in a household. She was a very bright girl but the way she was being treated was bad, to say the least as she was deprived of her basic needs. In that house, she had a pet parrot. She loved to talk with that parrot about her life and her dreams. One day Kajol thought that she could make her dream come true by sending that parrot to her mother and so she did.

কাজল একটি বাসায় কাজের মেয়ে হিসেবে কাজ করতো। সে বেশ মেধাবী মেয়ে ছিল কিন্তু সেই বাসায় তার অবস্থা খুবই খারাপ ছিল কারণ তার মৌলিক চাহিদাগুলো থেকে সে বঞ্চিত ছিল। সেখানে তার একটি পোষা তোতাপাখি ছিল। সে সেই তোতাপাখিকে তার জীবন এবং স্বপ্নের কথা বলতো। একদিন কাজল ভাবলো, তার এই ছোট্ট বন্ধুকে দিয়েই তার স্বপ্নপূরণ করা সম্ভব। তাই সে তোতাপাখিটিকে তার মার কাছে পাঠানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়।
